About this item

The Hyper Tough 6-Piece Needle File Set is a must-have item for every toolbox. The set consists of one of each type of file: a round file, a half round file, a square file, an equaling file, a flat file and a triangular file. They have various shape and teeth formations for specific functions. A flat file has parallel rows of teeth for thickness. A round file, known as a "rat tail", has teeth all the way around and is used to enlarge openings. The triangle or "taper" file can be used to file grooves or sharpen saw teeth. A half round file is for both flat and concave surfaces. The needle file set is for more refined small projects performed by hobbyists, craftsmen and jewelers. The file set features easy-to-grip handles for better control while handling detail work. Each file blade is made from high carbon steel for sharpness retention and improved cutting performance. The tools are perfect for smoothing, deburring and shaping metal! Hyper Tough features a full line of hand tools, rotary tools, power tools, tool accessories and tool storage. When you’re ready to make repairs or tackle home-improvement projects, Hyper Tough is ready. 0.18lbs assembled product weight
